Bothell People Directory Landscape

Bothell people directories do not live in one master database. The City of Bothell publishes its staff roster, Northshore School District lists employees, and the University of Washington covers faculty and staff at UW Bothell. MyBuildingPermit connects applicants and contractors with projects. County assessor and recording systems identify owners and deed parties. For an earlier resident, the strongest directories are local newspapers, archival collections, school records, and museum files.

Choose by relationship, not just by name. A city role points to the staff directory. A school or department points to Northshore or UW. An address points first to the correct county assessor. A permit project points to MyBuildingPermit. An old address, obituary, club, church, or family tie belongs in the Bothell Library and museum chain. The city has no verified public residential white-pages directory, so current household names should not be inferred from a street address alone.

Search Bothell City Staff

The Bothell Staff Directory searches by category, first name, or last name. Its category list reaches City Council, Executive, City Clerk, Community Development, Permit Center, Finance, Fire, Legal, Municipal Court, Parks, Police, Public Works, and other city units. A category-only search is useful when the name is unknown because it produces a departmental roster and can reveal a records desk or other functional contact.

The directory requires JavaScript to display entries. The official city search screen shows how the category and name controls work.

That screen is the best first stop for a present city contact. If no personal listing appears, use the department entry, main phone number, or City Clerk rather than assuming the person has no city role.

Who Bothell Government Lists

A Bothell city entry can show a name, title, email, phone, and additional phone. The Police Department roster also includes its physical address, main numbers, and lobby hours. Not every row names a person. Functional entries such as Police Records and Police Referrals help route a question when an individual contact is absent. Blank email or phone cells are normal and should not be filled from an unofficial source.

County roles require another choice. Bothell spans King and Snohomish counties, and their agencies are organized in different ways. Search the county tied to the event or parcel, then use that agency's roster or main desk. No working statewide employee-name directory was verified in the research. Bothell Education Directories

The Northshore School District Staff Directory had 3,318 listed constituents when inspected. Its public page accepts one keyword and advises searching by school, department, or role when a person's name is not known. Result cards usually show the employee's full name and district email. Some add a school-site link, while titles, department, and phone are not consistent on the first card.

The University of Washington Directory covers UW Bothell faculty and staff. Search by name, department, email, box number, or phone, then choose faculty/staff and either a full or summary listing. Student search requires authentication. Searching a Bothell department helps separate the campus connection from similarly named people elsewhere in the UW system.

The UW search interface makes those scope choices visible before a query is submitted.

The public and signed-in populations are deliberately different. A missing student result is therefore an access limit, not proof that the person has no UW Bothell link.

Bothell Permit People Directory

MyBuildingPermit turns project records into a focused name directory. Select Bothell as the jurisdiction and People as the search mode. The portal accepts contractor company, contractor license, or applicant last name. Results tie that name to a permit number, project description, address, type, status, applied date, and expiration date. The export can also include issued and finaled dates plus jurisdiction.

The applicant or contractor is not necessarily the owner or occupant. Treat the result as evidence of a project role, then check the county assessor for the owner tied to the parcel and date. The official permit search also offers Permit, Project Info, and Location modes.

People mode is especially useful when a contractor name or license is the only known fact. Permit status is public without a login, though no official online start year was published.

Bothell Property Owner Directories

Property rolls work as owner directories, but Bothell's county line controls the source. King County eReal Property and Parcel Viewer connect addresses and parcels with current taxpayer or owner data. Snohomish County Property Account Summary documents parcel and situs-address search. A situs address is the physical property address; a mailing address is where tax mail goes. They may differ.

Bothell COBMap helps identify the county and parcel across the whole city. Confirm the result in the source county's assessor system. Then a recorder index can show grantors, who gave an interest, and grantees, who received it. That trail identifies deed parties, not every resident. Trusts, companies, relatives, or nonresident owners can appear, while a person living at the property may never appear in title records.

Bothell Business Name Directories

The Washington Corporations and Charities Filing System searches an entity name or Unified Business Identifier, known as a UBI. Advanced controls include name matching, entity type, status, date ranges, and registered-agent or governor terms. A public entity record may show the legal name, UBI, type, status, formation data, registered agent, governors where filed, office addresses, filing history, and available notices.

A registered agent receives legal papers and is not necessarily the owner or a Bothell resident. Use the UBI to compare the state filing with Department of Revenue registration and city endorsements. For a public-facing local lead, the Bothell Kenmore Chamber member directory lists member organizations and business contacts. Chamber membership is not proof of legal status, so verify the entity in state systems.

Bothell Professional License Directories

Washington divides credentials among several official directories. The Department of Licensing License Lookup accepts a person or business name, license number, license type, and location. Results can establish whether DOL issued a credential, its status, and expiration date. A location-only query may miss professions for which DOL does not display a street address.

No single professional directory covers every field. Start with the regulator for the credential, then compare name, identifier, and status. This reduces the risk of joining two people who share a name.

Bothell Library Name Collections

Bothell Library has a microfilm and microfiche reader, scanner, public computers, printers, and staff help. Its strongest local name source is the Bothell newspaper chain. The Bothell Sentinel and Citizen archive covers 1908 through 1939 and 1982 through 1987; Bothell Citizen covers 1940 through 1960 and 1977 through 1981; Northshore Citizen covers 1961 through 1976. Together they form near-continuous coverage from 1908 through 1987.

KCLS does not publish a shelf-level inventory of Bothell city, telephone, Polk, or reverse directories with exact years. Call reference staff at 425-486-7811 and ask for a holdings check using Bothell, Northshore, Eastside, suburban Seattle, telephone, and criss-cross terms. A reverse directory is arranged by address rather than surname.

Historical Bothell People Directories

The Bothell Historical Museum Society holds business, church, personal, photographic, and early legal material. Its larger historical collection begins in 1871, while a smaller 1872-1921 document collection includes deeds, bills of sale, and title abstracts for David and Albert Bothell. Museum exhibits and publications add pioneer families, merchants, houses, schools, veterans, churches, transport, logging, and mills. No city-run searchable cemetery interment index was found.

Bothell incorporated in 1909, shifted to council-manager government in 1973, and annexed Canyon Park in 1992. Those dates change office titles, city boundaries, and likely catalog terms. King-side archival records route to the Puget Sound Regional Branch; Snohomish-side records route to the Northwest Regional Branch. Earlier Canyon Park material may be filed as unincorporated Snohomish County even when the postal address says Bothell.

For a past resident, pair a directory or newspaper year with a census, deed, probate file, obituary, school item, or cemetery record. The Bothell fires of 1908 and 1911 disrupted businesses, photos, and newspaper work, but the sources do not establish that city record books burned. Search name variants, an old street or hill name, and both county catalogs before treating a gap as proof of absence.
